Oldies Radio 107.5FM

Clifton Forge, VA is home to the NEWEST Oldies Radio Station in Southwestern Virginia.

Introducing Oldies Radio 107.5FM which is owned by WVJT, LLC, a Todd P. Robinson station, and is one of the 3 stations within the Highlands Media Group based in Covington, VA.

Oldies Radio 107.5FM & AM1230 concentrates on music from a period of about 25 to 60 years before the present day. That’s from the birth of rock n roll to the beginning of the singer-songwriter era of the early 1970s, or about 1955 to 1972, The very same Oldies music was also termed "classic hits" is and was used to distinguish the "new" oldies (the Generation X oldies) from the "old" oldies (the Baby Boomer oldies).

Oldies Radio 107.5FM & AM1230 features artists such as Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, The Beatles, The Beach Boys, The Animals, The Four Seasons, and Sam Cooke; as well as such musical movements and genres as doo-wop, rockabilly, rock and roll, early rock music, Motown, British Invasion, early girl groups, surf music, teen idol singers, teenage tragedy songs, and bubblegum pop. We also mix in to our playlist the folk revival of the early 1960s that sometimes is forgotten. Listen long enough and you will even hear some of your favorite Classic Rock.

Oldies AM1230 was paired with a new frequency, Oldies Radio, 107.5FM on December 31, 2016 and can be heard all throughout the Alleghany Highlands.
