Timothy “Tim” Edward Cason, Sr., 71, of Covington, died Friday, August 28, 2026 at his residence. He was born October 23, 1954, in Alleghany County, a son of the late Luther “Casey” Earman Cason and Catherine Virginia “Jenny” Javins Cason. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers. Tim was many things to many people, but above all, he loved his family deeply and would do anything for them. Survivors include his wife, Cindi Lou Tucker Cason; two sons; one step-daughter; two step-sons; one grandson; thirteen step-grandchildren; one brother, Terry (Jeanne) Cason; numerous nieces and nephews; and his three cats, Otis “Whacker”, Cleo Patra, and Phoebe. In keeping with his wishes, his body has been cremated. A private memorial service is planned for a later date. Arritt Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
