Ms. Tammy Lynn Hoke, age 68, of Covington, died Thursday, July 16, 2026, at her residence. Ms. Hoke was born September 27, 1957 in Clifton Forge, the daughter of the late Lonnie Hoke and Rita Sizemore Kasinger. A resident of this community for most of her life, she graduated from DSLCC with a degree in nursing. Tammy was employed as a registered nurse who worked with hospice patients providing end of life care. She was a member of Word of Life Ministries and loved going to church and being with her church family. In her spare time. she enjoyed reading her bible, working with flowerbeds and spending time with her family and friends especially her two grandchildren. Ms. Hoke is survived by a son, Christopher D. Mundy and wife, Jennifer Smith Mundy of Covington; two grandchildren, Kierstin P. Booze and husband, Jacob and Jayden C. Mundy; a brother, Billy David Hoke of Covington; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Ms. Hoke was preceded in death by four sisters and two brothers. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Monday, July 20, 2026 at Hoke Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Stan Sizemore officiating. Pallbearers will be Christopher "Chris" Mundy, Jayden Mundy, Jacob Booze, Teddy Hoke, Jeff Crawford and Garrett Crawford.
