Joseph LeRoy Reynolds, age 81, of Douthat State Park Road in Millboro, Virginia died on Friday, May 29, 2026 at his residence. Joseph was born on June 30, 1944 in Bath County, Virginia to the late Joseph Ivan “Joker” Reynolds and Lelda Margaret Wright Reynolds. He served in the United States Army, and was a self employed concrete finisher. He was a member of Oak Grove Advent Christian Church, loved is family deeply, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and talking politics. In addition to his parents, Joseph was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Louise Sipe Reynolds; a daughter, Teresa Bonham; and a grandson, Brandon Reynolds. He is survived by a daughter, Cynthia Reynolds Brady (Scott) of Clifton Forge; three sons, Tim Reynolds (Jennifer) of Clifton Forge, Joey Reynolds (Patty) of Millboro, and Frankie Reynolds of Clifton Forge; a brother, John Wayne Reynolds of Richmond; seven grandchildren, Jennifer Smith, Logan Bonham, Megan Bonham, Austin Reynolds, Kristen Reynolds, Hannah Paxton, and Jacob Brady; three grandchildren, Canaan Smith, Sophia Smith, and Layla Smith; a host of nieces and nephews; and his pup, Emmie. In keeping with his wishes, his body has been cremated. A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 5, 2026 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge with Reverend Grover Nicely officiating.
