Johnnie Everett Williams, age 66, of 1660 Indian Rock Road, Roanoke, Virginia died on Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at his home. Johnnie was born November 14, 1959 in Rockbridge County, Virginia to the late Joseph Everett Williams and Doris Conner Williams. He worked for the Virginia Department of Social Services as a supervisor and an accountant. Johnnie graduated from Lexington High School in 1978, and received a degree in business management from James Madison University in 1982. He was a member of Central Advent Christian Church. He enjoyed traveling to national parks, listening to the music of the Eagles, and was an avid Miami Dolphins fan. He is survived by his daughter, Kaylyn Barton (David) of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; two sons, Joshua Williams (Liselle) and Johnathan Williams, both of Lexington, Virginia; four grandchildren, Owen Barton, Henry Barton, Emmett Williams, and Graham Williams; and former wife and friend, Evelyn Kay Williams, of Lexington, Virginia. A funeral service will be held, Friday, August 28, 2026 at 3:00 PM in Central Advent Christian Church, Clifton Forge with Reverend Gene Ayers officiating. Interment will follow in Central Advent Christian Church Cemetery. The family will visit with friends at the church on Friday afternoon from 2:00 PM until the time of service.
