Gordon "Ellis" Stull

Gordon “Ellis” Stull, age 83, of 7711 Rich Patch Road, Covington, Virginia died on Sunday, April 26, 2026 at Heritage Hall in Lexington, Virginia. Ellis was born on June 25, 1942 in Covington to the late Ernest Stull and Mildred Whitmer Stull. He was a retired dairy farmer and a member of Rich Patch Union Church who loved to read his Bible. Ellis also loved his family and his dogs. He enjoyed listening to music, and his favorite song was “One Day at a Time”. In addition to his parents, Ellis was preceded in death by a sister, Marcia Douglas. He is survived by a sister, Colleen Young of Clifton Forge; two brothers, Dale Stull (Lynda) and Faron Stull (Sherry) both of Rich Patch, Covington; a niece, Jennifer Martin and two nephews, Dusty Stull and Chris Stull; and a host of cousins and great friends. The family would like to thank ACG Hospice, his special caregivers, Kay Stull and the nurses of Heritage Hall, and Dr. Scott Brown. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge with Mr. Chris Fisher officiating. Interment will follow in Shiloh United Merhodist Church Cemetery. The family will visit with friends on Tuesday afternoon from 12:30 PM until the time of service at Nicely Funeral Home. The family suggests memorial tributes take the form of contributions to the Alleghany Humane Society or to ACG Hospice.
