Keith Earl Morris, age 67, of 701 Girard Avenue, Clifton Forge, Virginia died on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, Virginia.
Keith was born on April 24, 1959 in Harrisonburg, Virginia to the late Jean Elizabeth Kern Thurston. He was a 1977 graduate of Clifton Forge High School, where he enjoyed playing multiple sports, and was a welder for Waco. His lifelong passion was deer and turkey hunting, and he loved Dr. Pepper and Reese’s Cups.
In addition to his mother, Keith was preceded in death by his stepfather, Clyde “Dubby” Thurston.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Rhonda Riley Morris of Clifton Forge; a sister, Carolyn Clodfelter (Sammy) of Walkertown, NC; a nephew, Chris Clodfelter and a niece, Desirae Clodfelter; a great nephew, Aiden; two aunts and uncles; and his faithful companion, Buc. The family would like to give a special thanks to Keith’s extended family of friends (Scott and Cynthia Brady, their children, Hanna and Jack, Richard “Tick” Greene, Jason Barron, and his hunting buddies, for giving him all the love, support, and endurance through the years.
In keeping with his wishes, his body has been cremated. No services are planned at this time.
