Nancy Dabney Baird Harris, age 78, of Clifton Forge, Virginia died Friday, July 10, 2026 at the Springs Nursing Home, Hot Springs. She was born August 19, 1947 in Albermarle, Virginia to the late Dabney Allan Baird and Nancy Bruce Baber Baird. She was a homemaker throughout her life and a lifetime member of Women of the Moose. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Allen Bruce Baird; and grandson, Brett. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, David L. Harris; a daughter, Wendy Stewart (James); three sons, David Harris (Lynn), Michael Harris, Jason Harris (Tessia); grandchildren, Dustin, Kelly, Felisha, Tiffany, Paris, Briana, Kimberly and Kadie; great grandchildren, Aubrey, Jose’, Zuri, Lincoln, Nora, Lorena, Kannon, and Blake; her caregiver, Missy Campbell; many close friends; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at 6:00PM in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge with Pastor Luke Benton officiating. Family will receive friends from 4:00PM until time of service. Following the service her body will be cremated.
