Marion Edith Burley Campbell Williams, age 93, formerly of 310 Vine Avenue, Clifton Forge, Virginia died on Tuesday, July 28, 2026 at 300 Magnolia Lane in Daleville.
Marion was born on February 21, 1933 in Covington, Virginia to the late Andrew Matt and Blanche Edith Dressler Burley. She was a house parent for The Boy’s Home in Covington, and a member of the Covington VFW Ladies Auxiliary as well as the Covington Women of the Moose. She enjoyed quilting in her spare time.
In addition to her parents, Marion was preceded in death by her first husband, Junior W. Campbell and her second husband, Leroy Alva Williams; two sons, Rock Allen Campbell and Forrest Dale Campbell, as well as an infant son, Frankie Wayne Campbell; a brother, Earl Burley; and three sisters, Carol Smith, Lois Smith, and Dorothy Cauley.
She is survived by a daughter, Nancy Campbell Arritt (Robert) of Daleville; two sons, Jay Darrell Campbell of Covington and Stoney Brook Campbell (Yvonne) of Vinton; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at 12:00 Noon in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge with Reverend Brandon Nicely officiating. The Women of the Moose will provide their tribute during the service. Interment will follow in Central Advent Christian Cemetery, Clifton Forge. Pallbearers will be Boone Arritt, Brook Arritt, Zane Campbell, Jesse Campbell, and Nathan Goldberg. The family will receive friends on Saturday morning from 11:00 AM until the time of service at Nicely Funeral Home.
