Mary Margaret Nicely Brady, age 78, of 802 West Ridgeway Street, Apt 405, Clifton Forge, Virginia passed away peacefully with her loved ones by her side on Wednesday, October 28, 2026. Mary was born on December 27, 1947 in Alleghany County, Virginia to the late Jake Senior Nicely and Mary Blanch Webb Nicely. She was a homemaker and self-employed Certified Nursing Assistant. She enjoyed sewing, watching Billy Graham, and the Christmas season. She especially loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren. God certainly broke the mold here. Everyone that knew her, knows that there will never be another “Mary Margaret”. So much personality in such a small package. She will always be remembered. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Cleveland Brady; a son; four brothers; and one sister. She is survived by five children, Sue Ann Brady and Sandra Brady, both of Clifton Forge, Linda Marshburn and husband Matthew of Greensboro, NC, Richard Wayne Brady and wife Jackie of Stuarts Draft, and Robin Brady of Richmond; six sisters; seven grandchildren; a number of step grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. A graveside funeral service will be held on Friday, October 30, 2026 at 11:00 AM in Central Advent Christian Cemetery, Clifton Forge with Reverend Bill Gilliland officiating.
